I've raved about the Maybelline Dream Sun Bronzer and Blusher on my blog for the past few months, but I was surprised to discover that it had never been mentioned in a favourites post. The bronzer adds a subtle wash of colour, creating a healthy glow, and the blusher is a beautiful, vibrant pink that is quite natural but still a really pretty colour. I use this on a daily basis, as it's incredibly easy to apply and looks nice on my skin. If you'd like to know more about this product, you can find my review of it here.
The Maybelline Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze is a makeup item that I've had for quite some time, and this month I've been using it more frequently. I used to be a bit afraid of this at times, as I thought it would give a harsh wash of colour all over the lids, but I've realised how beautiful it looks when just a bit is applied and blended out. It's such a lovely way to wear a bit of colour on the lid without being too bold or over the top, so it's great for those of you just getting into makeup. I reviewed this a long time ago (so it might not be my best post) which you can find here.
A lip product that I've fallen in love with this month is the Clinique Chubby Stick Baby Tint in the shade Poppin' Poppy. This is a beautiful coral colour that is perfect for spring and summer. It is really moisturising and is similar to a lip balm, except it still has a decent amount of colour. This feels comfortable and silky on the lips and lasts for quite a while. I'll be testing this over the next few weeks ready to review it, so be prepared to hear more about this product.
A makeup tool that I've found incredibly useful this month is eyelash curlers. I used to apply mascara without curling my eyelashes and found that, after a while, they would be almost straight and didn't retain a curl. Now, my eyelashes stay curled for ages and I've found that my mascara can look more dramatic. I've also been using these on days when I don't wear mascara, just to open up my eyes and make my eyelashes appear longer.
I switch up the body sprays that I use often, as I own quite a few and I enjoy wearing different scents. Recently, I've been wearing the Ted Baker body spray (it doesn't say its actual name on the bottle) on a regular basis. It has a gorgeous scent that lingers throughout the day and is really pleasant. The bottle is quite small, perfect for travelling, and the product is made from natural ingredients such as bergamot, red fruit, tuberose and patchouli.
Thank you for reading this post and I hope you liked hearing what my different favourites are. I'd love to know what items you've been loving, or if you also enjoy using any of the things mentioned above, so make sure you let me know down in the comments. I'll be back on Sunday with a new post, so I'll see you then!
Love from Daisy x
