There's been lots of changes in my makeup bag lately, as well as my skincare routine being modified over the past couple of months to specifically target my blemishes. I was in the habit of using the same products on a daily basis and realised that I had plenty of makeup that I hardly used, and so I wanted to mix it up a bit. I've been enjoying using a variety of different products lately, some of which are new discoveries and others are old favourites that I've rekindled my love for. I thought that you might want to hear about all of these additions to my everyday skincare and makeup routine, so if you're interested then keep reading this post!
Tanya Burr Beautifully Defined Palette
Although I've been in love with the entirety of this palette, it's the bronzer and highlighter that I've been reaching for on a daily basis. A bronzer is essential for me, as I much prefer my complexion with a radiant glow and bronzed look then when I'm pale and ill-looking. This one is ideal, as it produces a luminous sheen and warms the face up nicely. Both powders are incredibly blendable and easy to wear, adding a nice amount of colour to the face whilst still being suitable for daily usage. If you'd like to hear my additional thoughts on this palette, then you can check out my recent review of it here.
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation
Usually, I never wear foundation on a day-to-day basis and instead just opt for a concealer, as this is much easier and saves me time in the morning. However, since purchasing this foundation, I've absolutely fallen in love with it and have proceeded to wear it every day. It has a very radiant and dewy finish, making my skin look fresh and glowy when it's applied - a look that is perfect for the spring. It has a lightweight formula, with the sheer coverage meaning it helps to even out my complexion without being too heavy on the skin. I could keep raving about this foundation all day, so if you'd like an in-depth review in the future then make sure you let me know!
Makeup Revolution Palette in Golden Sugar
I really wanted to venture into my makeup collection in terms of cheek products, as I have loads of blushers that I hardly ever wear. I rediscovered the baked blushers in this Makeup Revolution palette and I want to start by saying that they're honestly beautiful powders, being very aesthetically pleasing and Instagram worthy. I've been mixing the two central blushers on the top row to create a gorgeous baby pink shade, which is perfect for Spring and looks lovely with a tan, meaning I've been reaching for this palette regularly over the past few weeks.
PS Beauty Ultra Shine Lipgloss
I wore this lipgloss loads over summer and when I started college, and over the past few weeks I've started to remember how much I loved it. I rediscovered this product at the bottom of my makeup bag and now I can't help but reach for it on a regular basis. It's a very wearable, neutral shade that makes it complimentary for virtually any outfit and thus easy to wear. The glossy, high-shine finish gives a flattering effect, and the buttercream scent is the icing on top of the cake (pun not intended), making this an all-around amazing product.
T-Zone Skincare Exfoliating Daily Wash
I was sent a few products by T-Zone a couple of weeks ago and I've been eagerly testing them out since, especially since my spots have been particularly bad recently. A full, detailed review will be coming in a few weeks, but in the meantime, I really wanted to talk about this facial wash, which is possibly my favourite product out of the bundle. It leaves my skin feeling incredibly refreshed and clean, as well as removing any makeup. I'm also pleased to say that I've seen a considerable improvement in my blemishes since I started using this product, and they've definitely started to decrease in severity.
Origins Original Skin Retexturising Mask
I mentioned this product in my review of the Origins Radiance Ready Skincare Collection and I felt that it was necessary to update you on how much I've been enjoying using this facial mask. I've been using it once a week and I've started to notice improvements in my skin, as it looks much fresher with a restored glow. My complexion definitely feels cleansed, and the mask is also gentle so my skin doesn't feel stripped or irritated after using it. I've found this to be a very beneficial product for my skin, and I'll continue to use it on a regular basis.
I hope you enjoyed hearing about my current favourite makeup and skincare products, and I'd highly recommend trying out any of the items mentioned in this post. What are your favourite makeup products at the moment? Why not let me know as I'd love to discover some new items. Thanks for reading and I'll see you again next Sunday!
